We strive to inform and engage our school and community residents to make informed choices by providing parents and families with the necessary resources to assist them to effectively respond to the needs of their children and families. Crisis Ministry offers an array or programs to promote healthy living. They provide access to foods that promote good health for low income individuals and families, They offer nutrition programs to stress the importance of healthy eating, and partner with Capital Health to provide health screenings to help with early detection of hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, and other conditions.

Catholic Charities’ Community Food Pantry offers three meals a day for three days for each household member.

Mount Carmel Guild
Mount Carmel Guild’s Emergency Assistance program offers direct and immediate support for those in chronic or temporary crisis. They can provide a three to five day supply of food, basic necessities for newborns and infants, as well as personal hygiene items.
