Edwin works as a driver at CSA. He also teaches arts as part of the school’s Co Curriculum Program.

Born in Chicago IL, moved to Brazil when he was only 2 years old. There graduated and has a Bachelor degree in Advertising and Marketing. He worked several years as a graphic designer and also producing Vascular Medicine conferences. In 2009, he returned to the United States importing and selling Brazilian shoes. After that, he began working for CSA in 2012.

Even without science background, he loves the theme and his idols are Carl Sagan, Neil deGrasse Tyson and Stephen Hawking. And unlike what many people think, even growing in Brazil, does not play nice soccer.

Mrs. Welsh has been a Lead Teacher in Kindergarten since CSA opened in 2012. She is a graduate of Buffalo University and earned her Master’s degree in Health and Physical Education from Syracuse University. Prior to working at CSA, Mrs. Welsh taught at an Early Learning Center in Lawrenceville. She was the Education Coordinator and Curriculum Specialist, a Preschool Lead Teacher and directed their Reading program for Pre-K through 2nd Grade.

Raised in Stony Brook, New York, Mrs. Welsh enjoys rollerblading, reading, sewing, and spending time with her two children and family. When she isn’t at work, she can usually be found carpooling her kids to soccer, karate, gymnastics or cub scouts, though she’d much rather be out dancing! Teaching Kindergarten at a school with an important mission like Christina Seix Academy has always been a dream of Mrs. Welsh’s and she’s honored to be part of Team CSA.
