The incoming class for the 2017 - 2018 school year will consist of 20 students in Pre-K from Trenton and the greater Mercer County area. The academy will strive to establish a diverse cohort of students that is gender balanced and representative of the ethnic composition of our community. The admissions process is a multistep process, which will lasts approximately five months.
The online inquiry form will be available on October 3, 2016 for the 2017 - 2018 Academic Year. The form will only be available until October 28, 2016.
When all applications are submitted, selected qualified applicants will receive an invitation to visit the school with their child for a school readiness screening and continuation of the application process.
At this stage, parents will also be asked to bring the following required documents to verify information provided:
- Birth Certificate
- Proof of Address
- Proof of Household Income
- Current grant/award letters for those receiving SSI, TANF, SNAP and other Social Security
- Benefits and child support
- Custody Agreement if applicable
During the third stage of the admissions process, selected applicants will be asked to schedule an appointment for a Home Visit. This visit is designed to allow us to get to know you and your child as completely as we can in a short time, as well as to allow you to ask any further questions that you may have to ensure that the Christina Seix Academy is the best educational option for your child.
The final stage of the admissions process will conclude with notifications to all applicants.
Accepted applicants will then begin their enrollment and orientation process in the upcoming months. Applicants who are not accepted at this stage, will have the opportunity to meet with one of our highly experienced team members to receive information about other educational opportunities.
